Welcome to the ASQ's Measurement Quality Division (MQD), Certified Calibration Technician program (CCT program). ASQ's board of directors granted final approval for the CCT program on May 18, 2002 at ASQ's 2002 annual quality congress in Denver, Colorado. The CCT program is made possible by the aggregate contributions of many dedicated Metrology professionals from government agencies, large and small business entities and academia who believe formal certification of calibration technicians is long overdue. The latest CCT program information may be found here. ASQ and the Measurement Quality Division recognize the sacrifices and dedication of our active duty Armed Forces members, and are pleased to announce a special military discount for those taking the CCT exam. Active duty Armed Forces members can now take the CCT exam at the reduced rate of $105 U.S.; a 60% savings off the non-ASQ member rate! The MQD is proud to be the sponsor of the CCT program. Future CCT workshops are being planned to develop new exam questions. Exam workshops are conducted on a Friday-Saturday at ASQ Headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. ASQ pays airfare and hotel accommodations and reimburses reasonable cost for meals and ground transportation. Workshops participants are required to have passed the CCT exam.
