According to the Juran Center at the University of Minnesota's Carlson
School of Management, this database contains approximately 1,000 citations
to literature on quality. Most of the books and journal articles referenced

knowledge. While this site contains only abstracts and citations of books
and journals, sources are suggested for full text when it is available

site being developed by students at Pennsylvania State University. It

If you're looking for best practices for your organization, the U.S.
General Accounting Office (GAO) has a wealth of suggestions. The GAO-an
independent agency that studies the programs and expenditures of the federal
government-has documented best practices the government has implemented
since 1990 and put them on this site. They are organized under three broad
categories: best practices reviews, comparative benchmarking products
and best practices methodology. Each category is split into specific areas
such as financial management, inventory management and performance measurement.
