ISO 26000, Guidance on Social Responsibility, Published as Draft International Standard
ISO 26000, Guidance on social responsibility, is one step closer to becoming an international standard. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has published ISO 26000 as a Draft International Standard (DIS), making it available for review and comment.

What's next for ISO 26000?
- The ISO Working Group on Social Responsibility, which is developing ISO 26000, will meet in May 2010, after national member bodies of ISO have voted on the DIS.
- If the vote is positive, ISO 26000 will advance to Final Draft International Standard status, the last stage before becoming an International Standard.
