The vision, mission and name of the Human Development & Leadership Division sets a direction of supporting the personal and professional development of quality people as the Division's primary focus.

"Quality people" refers to all of us, whether we are performing a task or process usually attributed to quality improvement (such as SPC, DOE, etc.) or we are increasing our own capability, our own personal quality at the workplace, at home, in our communities.
