ASQ and the Milwaukee community present an Earth Day celebration to launch a national movement to align social responsibility and quality principles to achieve bottom-line results.

The emergence of social responsibility has prompted ASQ to embark on a major initiative to help the world understand the value of and business case for social responsibility and the role of quality to maintain a competitive advantage.

By attending this high-impact launch, you will engage with like-minded business leaders who have a vested interest in using social responsibility to grow business, manage costs, and reduce waste to achieve positive business results.

World-renowned Photographer and Environmental Activist

Chris Jordan was chosen by National Geographic Channels International to serve as its eco-ambassador for Earth Day 2008 and recently won the prestigious Green Leaf Award from the United Nations Environmental Programme, presented at the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, Norway. Check out this video to see his powerful position on the wastefulness of Western culture.

Jordan is a Seattle-based photographic artist who first became known for his large-scale color photographs of the detritus of American consumer culture, in a series titled Intolerable Beauty: Portraits of American Mass Consumption. Since then, his images have been featured in hundreds of magazines, newspapers, television features, documentary films, books, art museums, festivals, and public venues around the world.
