Hi

I gave my ASQ CSSBB exam, the exam was easy but the thing is it was little bit time consuming and i was not able to finish the test in the given time. I could finish about 125/150 questions. Is there any cut off percentile. On what basis is the pass score determined. Please let me know. I am very tensed. Help me out.

Vijay,
Please read the following whole thread. Your question has been answered.
http://www.asq.org/discussionBoards/thread.jspa?threadID=563&tstart=15
Also read the Page 5 of the
http://www.asq.org/certification/docs/ssbb_brochure_04_2.pdf
"Grading Process".
There is no percentile method. Just the passing "cut score" derived by statistical methods.
Regards,
Govind.

If you are very anxious and can’t wait until the certification is received by mail, here is an ASQ web feature that can be useful for you.

Based on my experience*: If your exam was on March 5th, Log in to ASQ Page on March 17th after 4pm EST or March 18th, click certification link (after logged in), you will see your result on the screen right there even before receiving the hard copy certificate in mail. Well, you can celebrate that weekend without any anxiety ;)

Well, it took me few certifications to know the exact point when ASQ posts the results in that page:)

Surprisingly, not many member examinees are aware of such feature!

For those who have already passed your exam, you can see the tabulated list of all your certification with expiration due in the same page.

Regards,
Govind.

* CQMgr could be longer due to manual assessment of Constructive response.
