Wes is right about the program, which is good, through, & rigorous as a distance PhD geared toward working professionals, but they have a digital systems specialization which might be of a better help to you than the QSS(quality systems specialization). It's not a light undertaking, nor is it easy to get into. I'm attending CMSU(Central Missouri State) in Fall for their MS in Industrial Management (online) simply because other MS programs won't be specific enough or tailored enough to meet the requirements for the ISU program. If not ISU, maybe consider a PhD in Industrial Engineering & Operational Reasearch through Colorado State. Search around PhD programs are very content specific & it depends what you wnat to do with it. The main goal in any PhD program is (usually)either for academic teaching or research possibilities in either academia or industry. Most people find they only need the MS/MA or MBA for career growth. Also check Sentinal University for some high tech programs or direction Hope that helps. Shawn
p.s. The ISU program is supposed to be 'career enhancing' not 'career making'. I know because I've throughly checked them out.
