Thomas I. Schoenfeldt

Thomas I. Schoenfeldt founded Schoenfeldt Services, Inc. in 1998. It is a consulting firm that helps companies reach their long-term goals through Training, Project Management, Quality System Development, and Supplier Management. Having worked for more than 25 years in a variety of industries in the US and SE Asia, Tom has gained experience in cost tracking and reduction, and process development and improvements from concept to implementation. He has organized, led and trained cross-functional teams for many purposes and been a key player in building relationships with suppliers.

Tom is an active Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE) and an active Senior Member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the Customer Supplier Division of ASQ and holds offices in both organizations. He has presented a variety of papers internationally to top Quality organizations. He is on the Board of Directors of the Angileri Quality Institute at Madonna University, Livonia, MI. He is serving on the Board of Examiners and some planning committees for the Michigan Quality Council, based on Malcolm Baldrige criteria, and on the planning committee for the annual Michigan Quality Conference.

Tom is serving as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Quality Departments of Madonna University and Schoolcraft College in Livonia, MI and Macomb Community College in Warren, MI. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and has continued his education both formally and informally throughout his life.
