ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor Training — Blended Format (RABQSA Certified)
Understand the specifics of the ISO 9001:2000 standard and how to perform an audit based on them. Take advantage of time to practice your newly acquired skills in real-life audit situations to ensure that you are prepared to conduct effective audits.
This certified Lead Auditor course blends independent Web-based learning with face-to-face classroom instruction. It is offered in two parts.
You will complete part I on the Web at your own pace. It includes 20 contact hours. Part I explains ISO 9001 requirements and how to interpret the ISO 9001 standard. This course makes extensive use of student activities and case studies to help students fully understand the requirements of auditing to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Part I provides on-line access to ISO 9001:2000 standards and more than 20 downloadable handouts including an ISO 9001:2000 checklist, a student textbook, study slips, a before-class assessment and after-class objectives.
During part I, you will submit an assignment for grading. You will also complete eight on-line tests, an on-line assignment and a final test. You may use your notes for the online tests and you will have ample time to answer the questions. You have 90 days to complete part I.
After successfully completing part I, you have one year to complete part II in the classroom. Part II includes 16 contact hours, and focuses on applying the knowledge from part I. Instructors will help you apply your skills to actual audit situations.
You must successfully complete the Part I online learning prior to attending the Part II classroom portion of the training.
Upon successful completion of both parts you will receive a certificate of completion. You must successfully complete both parts to meet RABQSA requirements for QMS auditors.
The registration fee covers the entire class (Part I and Part II).
Compared to the traditional five-day certified lead auditor class, this blended learning alternative offers cost savings, more effective knowledge-based training, convenience, and less time away from your home and job.
