David C. Everitt is president of the agricultural division – North America, Australia, Asia and for global tractor and implement sourcing of Deere & Company, a position he has held since January 2006. Everitt is accountable for serving all customers within his region and for all tractor and implement factories worldwide.
Since joining the company in 1975 as an engineer at the John Deere Horicon Works, Everitt has held a variety of management positions in the areas of industrial engineering, production engineering, mechanical services and sales. In 1993, he was appointed manager of business development, and subsequently managed cotton and factory operations at the John Deere Des Moines Works.
Everitt was appointed director of Region I, for the worldwide agricultural equipment division in 1996 and was promoted to the position of vice president of Region I of the worldwide agricultural equipment division, two years later. In 1999, he relocated to Deere & Company’s European headquarters in Mannheim, Germany, as senior vice president and managing director of Region II. Everitt was appointed president of the agricultural division for Europe, Africa and South America and global harvesting equipment sourcing in 2001.
Everitt also serves as a director of the Scott County Family YMCA in Davenport, Iowa.
A native of Concordia, Kansas, Everitt is a 1975 graduate of Kansas State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
