Welcome to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Network!

ASQ Team Offers Comments on Financial Auditing Standards and Rules to Government Agencies
Sarbanes-Oxley Blog:
See what John Walz
has to say

The network enables discussion between various quality and environmental auditing companies and individuals. This allows them to expand their effectiveness and clarify their contributions to the corporate consumer.

The SOX network seeks to determine common ground between government, financial and quality auditors, and the organizations that provide resources and guidance for them. The awareness of potentially overlapping services and expertise is a critical first step in improving product focus and corporate customer service for all interested parties.

In an October 2003 article of Quality Progress magazine two ASQ members and contributors to the ISO standard, Paul Palmes and Sandford Liebesman proposed that ISO 9000 or ISO 14000 auditors are well equipped to lead a SOX compliance investigation.  However, since this article was published, very few ISO auditors have made the transition to leading or even aiding in a SOX investigation.

We invite your participation and input into improving the process and maximizing the return of resources required to comply with the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
