Jo Haberstok

Jo Haberstok

Jo Haberstok is a communications and quality consultant and author.  She currently works for Fluor Hanford in Richland, Washington, as a technical writer/editor. Past experience includes training, quality programs, marketing and retail sales. Jo has been a member of ASQ since 1986 and has volunteered as a preliminary, lead, and national ITEA judge for over 12 years. She has published several articles and presented educational and poster sessions at AQP/ASQ national conferences. Honored in 1992 with AQP’s prestigious Judy Gibson Award for her work at both the local and national levels, Jo currently serves as Vice-Chair of ASQ Section 614 as well as Programs and Publicity Chair. She is also active with the National Management Association (NMA), where she has served on the Hanford Chapter’s Board of Directors and is active with annual fundraisers.

Haberstok states... “For me, my involvement with the ITEA offers opportunities to meet new people and network with others, to utilize my talents and skills as part of a dedicated and caring team, and to continually learn and grow, both professionally and personally. Every year when I view the tapes/DVDs of these teams or see teams “live” at the national event, I am impressed – both by their enthusiasm and commitment to their projects, and also by the fact that their companies are so supportive of these teams’ efforts.  My most memorable times associated with the ITEA and the national conferences have been the opportunities to hear from and meet so many great keynote speakers in the past, including Tom Peters, Colin Powell, Herman Cain, and Jennifer James. At the AQP conference in San Antonio, I even got my picture taken with Ben & Jerry!”
