About
The network provides both ASQ members and visitors to www.asq.org the opportunity to network and participate in discussing the issues and challenges of the insurance industry when it comes to satisfying the needs of their clients in the most painful moments of their lives, whether damage to their properties, injuries, or even death.
The purpose is to identify best practices in companies, agencies and brokerages and share them for all to collectively benefit, through dialogue and discussion. It is also to research key business issues from the client perspective.
Goals:
- Clarify and interpret the application of ISO 9001:2000 to insurance businesses
- Discuss the application of the Malcolm Baldrige model to the insurance industry
- Set up work groups to study particular topics of interest in enhancing the satisfaction of the clients of the insurance industry
- Organizing conferences to promote quality and sustainable development in the insurance industry
- Organizing tours of insurance businesses spearheading this industry
We categorize the discussions around the process categories as defined by the standard ISO 9001:2000, Management, Resources, Service Delivery, Monitoring, for practical purposes, breaking down Service Delivery by types of insurance such as life, health, property casualty. Other categories are created on an as needed basis.
