The EM network provides both ASQ members and visitors to www.asq.org the opportunity to network, share information and experiences, and participate in discussing issues and challenges to the EM laboratory.

Goals:

• Provide awareness of quality concerns in the environmental microbiology laboratory.
• Provide a forum for communicating concerns about poor laboratory practices encountered during assessments.
• Promote quality assurance program and quality control activities in the EM laboratory by encouraging open exchange of information.
• Provide a forum to discuss verification and validation of analytical methods.
