North Carolina's Journey Towards Continuous Improvement

The dramatic turn-around in the education system of North Carolina is examined. The Baldrige framework and quality principles were contributing factors in the significant improvement of student performance in the state. The approach taken by North Carolina since 1993 is outlined, and key lessons learned are shared.
