Hiring Freezes. Layoffs. Cutbacks
Most of you have been impacted by economic pressures. Maybe a project was put on hold—indefinitely. Or maybe you've seen your department's headcount dwindle. Perhaps the company you work for is letting its ISO registration expire.
For an upcoming article, QP editors want to know: What's your story?
- How is your company faring? Specifically, how has the economy affected the company, quality efforts and you and your department?
- How are you positioning yourself (and your company's quality initiatives) to keep them alive and well?
- What advice can you give others dealing with similar situations?
- What are you doing to keep quality alive in the face of a recession?
Send your experiences, anecdotes, advice and ideas (150 to 200 words) to editor@asq.org by March 31 and we'll consider it for inclusion in an upcoming feature article. Please include name, title, company, phone number and e-mail address. Submissions may be edited for space and clarity.
