ASQ Biomedical Awards/Scholarships
The Marvin Rosenbaum Distinguished Service Award
ASQ offers awards to recognize people who have provided distinguished service to ASQ and to the Quality profession over an extended period of time.
Through the efforts of the ASQ Biomedical Division, such an award was recently approved: The Marvin Rosenbaum Distinguished Service Award pays tribute to the memory of a man who served the Biomedical Division and ASQ for many years. He was a leader in the development of the Biomedical Division and was an early member of the New England Biomedical Discussion Group. He was a past Chairman of the Biomedical Division and long time Treasurer of the NEBDG.
Biomedical Division intends to make the inaugural award to Marvin Rosenbaum posthumously in May at WCQI. His wife and children have been invited to be there to receive it in his memory. Also, this award will be recognized in the ASQ Honors Record to be published at WCQI.
