Track Descriptions

Prepare for Excellence.  The 12th Annual Quality Audit Conference focuses on total business performance improvement through effective auditing

Track 1: Foundation for Excellence
This track presents the basics and the foundation required to set up a value added auditing system for beginners in the auditing profession.  The success stories related to auditor selection, audit schedule, audit checklist, audit nonconformities, and audit effectiveness are covered in sector specific standards such as automotive, aerospace, healthcare, medical devices, telecommunications, and calibration.

Track 2: Application for Excellence
Emphasis of this track is to accurately apply the basic techniques of auditing to achieve desired results for improvement.  As an auditor, it is vital to understand the differences between compliance audits, management audits and performance audits.  The sector specific certifications in Quality Auditing such as HACCP CQA, CSQA, Six Sigma, etc. are covered.

Track 3: Advancing for Excellence
This track emphasizes the advanced auditing techniques in auditing world class organizations that implement quality and continual improvement techniques such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma.  A specific focus is placed on auditing multinational organizations and different auditing techniques in different parts of the world.

Track 4: Enhancing for Excellence
This track is developed to attract the Gurus to discuss the \"lessons learned\" situations to enhance auditors\' abilities and competence for effective quality evaluations and benchmarking.  The future role of auditor in the election process, Internet related activities, airport screening security, homeland security, and ethical boundaries of corporate financial audits.
