1998 Conference
1998 7th Annual Quality Audit Conference

Louisville, Kentucky, February 26-27, 1998 7th Annual Quality Audit Conference

Conference At A Glance
It is difficult for auditors to put the pieces together and make sense of it all. This conference focused on putting the fragments in place, with all the interrelationships, to keep the auditor exposed to the definitive innovative material in the field.

Track 1
Reaffirming Core Concepts - Sorting the Pieces
This track is intended for new auditors whose auditing experience is "just out of the box," those auditors "fitting the pieces together" preparing for the CQA Exam, or experienced auditors refreshing their knowledge and skill. While presentations in this track will address and support the CQA Body of Knowledge and reaffirm and reinforce core auditing concepts, new perspectives and points of view will make them fresh and informative.

Track 2
Making Audits Work - Putting the Pieces Together
Seasoned, experienced auditors will find this track focusing on improving their performance and effectiveness as well as the effectiveness of the organizations for which they do work. The presentations will provide new perspectives and insights, reaffirm or redirect audit practices, redefine directions for auditing, and introduce new tools, techniques, technologies, and approaches

Track 3
Pharmaceutical, Medical and HealthCare
Applications - Piecing Together the HealthCare Audit Picture
All auditors, regardless of their industry, should find this track illuminating and informative. Assembling and connecting various elements of the auditing or assessment processes in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and health care delivery, these presentations will help put the whole picture together for auditors working in these areas. Others can gain insights about auditing in this growing and dynamic sector of the economy.

Track 4
Auditing the Hotel - From Puzzle to Practice
This will be a two-day, full-time practicum, an on-site audit of the host hotel itself under the tutelage of an experienced, master auditor. Attendance will be limited to 30 people and a refundable deposit of $25 will be required to reserve a place in this track.
