Special Guest Speakers
Keynote Address
Richard Brodie is author of Microsoft "Word" software and the book "Virus of the Mind." Memes are to ideas and language what genes are to biology. Memes embodied in ideas need not be "true" to survive and spread, but must provoke us to repeat them. Auditors who understand this concept can have greater impact by framing their messages in more powerful memes.
Luncheon Speakers
K. Eric Drexler effectively invented the field of nanotechnology - the idea that manufacturing ultimately leads to assembly of products atom-by-atom. Dr. Drexler will discuss some of the profound implications for quality auditors of processes and systems that are managed on a submicroscopic level.
Joshua Hammond is co-author of "The Stuff Americans Are Made Of" published by Quality Press. Understanding the seven characteristics which distinguish Americans can help us do better audits, write better reports, and do a better job for our customers. |
